Two of the women paired off with two of the men. The other two women went back to the room. The girlfriend went back to the room about an hour later according to video footage. Not sure about the guy friend who had been paired off with that woman. The missing woman was not seen going back to her room. Josh was seen leaving the beach around 9am.
So this tidbit about one of the women going off with Josh’s friends keeps getting ignored and the fact that those two might also be the last ones to see the missing woman. Also all of the other 5 people got out of DR. Josh is alone.
Josh is a US citizen. I would expect some help from the state department here. We have zero indication he is guilty of a crime and IMO he’s getting pegged by the police because they’re desperate to find someone to point the finger at when all things suggest it’s an accident influenced by alcohol.
Their friends were seen on video returning. That has been covered in media reports and discussed upthread.
He is the last known person to have seen her.
The desperation re recasting him is striking on this board. Not sure if it is dragon boy moms or what. As a general rule, the last man known to be with a missing woman comes under heightened scrutiny in all countries. He has lawyers.
Incorrect. I believe there were 4 women in the room. 2 went back to the room together. A third stayed with Josh's friend on the beach and came to the room later (all on video). I assume those two, plus Josh and the missing woman, were pairing off to possibly hook up or whatever. About 1-2 hours later, the third woman is on video coming back to the room. So there are 2 other people who may have also been the last people to see her, the 3rd friend and Josh's friend.
I am not a dragon boy mom. I have kids of both genders, so calm down. Of course Josh is being scrutinized intensely, but it seems like all the information that is obtainable from a super sloppy drunk person has been obtained. There are no reports on the other 2, who I assume have left DR. And just because he has a lawyer doesn't mean he's getting good representation.

Was he so drunk that he wouldn't have been able to have concern for her? Don't know. Or are you talking about after her friends may have told him she was missing, did he not show concern then?
The next day he was told she had not returned.
He did not make any report.
I don’t think it’s so weird that he didn’t make a missing person report… He had just met her a few hours earlier. They kissed in the ocean, got carried out by a wave, made their way back to the shore and he began puking the water that was he had swallowed. When he was done puking, he looked around and said he thought she had Gone back to her room. Since they barely knew each other that does not seem odd to me at all. Why would he think she was missing?
His friend told him the next morning.
Still, no report.
He didn’t know this girl! He would have no ice her habits, where she could be, and if anything he’d assume her actual friends would be the ones concerned and contacting people if there was a need.
Her probably didn’t even know her name.

Now leaving a friend at the beach to go to bed is not a crime. Nor is going on an excursion. But maybe they were not best friends.
I don’t know how 5 of them have stayed invisible in this.

None of Sudiksha’s five friends made a report until after their day excursion.

Video shows the beach is some distance from the resort. She was alone and unprotected and visibly impaired.
I don't see anywhere on there that kidnapping wealthy American tourists for sex trafficking is a thing. The whole point of sex trafficking is taking people who no one is going to make a fuss over, or who maybe no one will even notice is missing. An American college student is not that.
This isn't an American tourist in fact the title should be missing college student from India
She was a student at an American college. Living at an American college.
Why are you people so invested in othering people??
It’s because language and accuracy matter. She’s not American. That not casting aspersions, it’s the truth.
She is Indian-American. Probably has done most of her schooling here and primary language is English. Will probably take citizenship as soon as it is offered, but it takes a while. GFY racist
