Yes, she makes very bad decisions, is still a substance abuser, probably addicted and mentally unstable. She is the perfect candidate for a controlling person to manipulate.
Jenelle IS the controlling person.

You’ve just described David. Jenelle has a violent past with her boyfriends/fiancés/friends/family/children/animals. She controls David’s every move and any money he currently has access to. According to his family he’s given up his whole life to be isolated by her. She's such a bitch that it's hard to find sympathy for her. I DON'T feel bad for her that she can't have her kids. I don't feel bad for her that she drives people away. It's easier to feel bad for people who are kind, good people who try hard and are ALSO in abusive relationships.
