She's the worst. She just wants to be able to pander to the NIMBYs in Alexandria, and while taking credit for it when it eventually passes.. She'll vote for this, but wants the option to be on both sides of this issue.

Exactly. Youngkin was in private equity and should be able to make a few calls if this is such โ€œcanโ€™t loseโ€ proposition

Now that his devoted crony is pulling support, how fast will Wilson pretend he was always against the stadium? And all the loyal dems in Alexandria will nod their heads like a bunch of bobble heads?

Agreed, but that doesn't fix the traffic issues.

I hope so. This is not a tax bill that Virginia needs.

He will have to trade a lot. If you read the article, the democrats rightly note that the deal puts the onus of the liability on the taxpayers, which the democrats generally do not support. The billionaires should pay their own way, no? The right complains about public welfare and subsidies, but a deal like this has far more negative impact on the treasury of the commonwealth than any sort of SNAP type relief.

Um...they may not agree this time but let's not pretend that Dems aren't the party of high taxes and putting taxpayers on the hook for everything.

Also nice strawman you've got there.

You are kidding right?

Let's see how much did taxpayers pay to put SECRET SERVICE up at all Trump properties? 10x the going rate

How much did Trump steal from taxpayers in office and not one Republican has been fiscally responsible. $1.8 mil
How much did Trump add to the National Debt $7 Billion Biden has already lowered his.

Youngkin is not a fiscal conservative that is absurd.

Sigh. More strawmen. Where did I claim Youngkin is a fiscal conservative?

Bullshit

He is a dam liar and criminal.

Dems will not work with that utter crap. Lucas will stop his lies.

When his term is over I hope VA residents vote better.

Taxes are part of what we do to pay for things. I guess if we want crumbling schools and roads and no social safety net, then sure, let's have low or no taxes. You have a fire at your house, fill your own buckets. You need to get somewhere? Figure out how to get there without roads. You need gas for your car? Figure out how to get it from Texas yourself. Oh you didn;t want tainted food? I guess that is a you problem. What, you don't have clean drinking water? Go dig your own well and hope your neighbors haven't already tainted the entire area. I could go on, but you get the idea.
