"Lebanon’s Health Ministry said six people were killed and 43 were wounded when airstrikes hit several buildings, including a municipal building, in Nabatiyeh, one of Lebanon’s most populous cities. Howaida al-Turk, governor of Nabatiyeh province, told The Washington Post that Nabatiyeh Mayor Ahmad Kahil was among those killed — the first elected official of a major city killed in this war. Other council members died in the strikes as well, the governor said."

If they don't think the tide of public opinion is changing in America, it's only because the Jewish lobby has a lock on members of Congress, but the grass roots opposition to continuing to fund and support Israel is only building. So the Zionists can enjoy continue to milk the USA for a few more years, but eventually we are going to cut these depraved killers off and at some point they will be required to fend for themselves.
There are far, far more Christian supporters of Israel than Jewish ones, both in Congress and out of Congress. If only Jews backed the establishment and longtime support of the state of Israel, it never would have come to exist in the first place. Jews couldn't even get the U.S. to bomb the train lines running to Nazi death camps during World War II. You think that suddenly a few years later we were able to magically force the whole world to recognize a new country?

I can see the sympathy with the death of the people used as human shields in Gaza. But sympathy with what is happening in Lebanon right now? With trying to prevent a nuclear Iran and its proxies that have clearly announced their intent to destroy Israel and Jews?
Only Israel, the Jewish state, is expected to endure constant bombing and is attacked for defending itself. You’re all so antisemitic that it makes me sick. And the fact that these sick comments are tolerated on this site is so disappointing.
Only Israel was given the right to obtain Nuclear weapons by the US... Only Israel was allowed to drop bombs on children and invade neighboring countries. Only Israel seems to have a lobby than every member of the US Congress is beholden to.
We need more antisemitism to combat these trends...
The U.S. didn't "give Israel the right" to obtain nuclear weapons, they actually bought that capacity from France.

I agree it is the evangelistic republicans support in the southern states that is the engine that drive the US Israel policies. Most Jews (American or Israelis) have nothing in common with them. Now who has influence over steering the engine is a very different question. Evangelistic Christians are exceptionally uninformed about Israel, Jews and the Middle East.
As for the bombing of death camps and trains in WW2. Allied strategic bombing was not the precision bombing we have today. By the fall of 1944, only seven percent of all bombs dropped by the Eighth Air Force hit within 1,000 feet of their aim point. This is why the US adopted fire bombing. So no matter what people say the US could not have stopped the trains or death camps without killing everyone involved.
