And please, please, do not schedule tournaments out of town in back to back weeks only to play our own 2nd, 3rd, or 4th team (who is in the same tier/bracket) in a semi or a final is something I kindly ask the coaches/org make an extra effort to avoid this season.
That happened all the time last year. Two Valor teams in the same bracket, drive all the way to Va Beach to play the team you scrimmage against every practice, its so stupid.
This is pretty typical and the direction Valor prefers. Its like polishing the same turd over and over again. Its sad the only ones suffering will be the kids performance improvement. Lots a marketing, brainwashing and upselling going on.
OK it sucks but do they really know when they register for a tournament there will be so few teams entering that they will be in the same division?
My kid was on a second team that did this last year... We moved on to another club along with many others on the team; and it shows from recent tournament scores on the second team performing poorly.
I believe we played your old team recently or this is m happened to multiple second teams. The difference is shocking from last spring vs this fall. I recognized 2 returning kids and they were the only talented ones on the team. I heard a parent saying they are 'trusting the process with a lot of new kids playing together' before the game... Yikes

Anonymous wrote:An easy way to avoid that is to make sure your A, B, C, and D teams register for different tournaments.

This happened to our 2013 boys last year. They only do it for instagram posts. They do not care about the kids
I don't get this. An instagram post about how your 2014 5th team beat your 2014 7th team in a podunk tournament five hours from your club is not the social media flex they seem to think it is.
