I assume SJC and PVI will be the 1 and 2 seeds in the WCAC.

Gonzaga graduates a ton and will drop as does DeMatha.

Bullis, they have to go get some kids, is the portal shutting down on Falls Rd?

The new headmaster is striking a balance between athletics and academics... expect Bullis to still remain strong in the IAC but national aspirations are fading. Under the former head of school, Gerry Boarman I do recall on some occasions, a few players enrolling just for the 2nd semester to play lacrosse.

IAC on paper will most likely be between Landon and Prep with the slight edge towards the Bears given that 95% of their offense returns and Kevin Miller comes back from ACL. Prep returns most of their defense plus the younger Horning at attack who I think is very underrated.

I expect Episcopal to continue to emphasize lacrosse, why wouldn't they? Their endowment is massive and the resources are there. They have a beautiful campus with top-notch facilities and of course dorms. Imagine if Kabari had stayed at Episcopal vs leaving for Prep, they could have easily have competed for an IAC championship this spring.

STA will most likely drop.

Saint Stephens should be much improved as they were young this year.

I thought their students and players, despite a few late cheap shots, were much better behaved than a few of their dads. They were cursing and screaming at refs all game and the Prep players after Landon lost. Didn’t seem to care that there were young kids around. Drinking heavily out of Yeti cups may not have helped.

Landon dad here. I was really embarrassed for Landon on this one. I think school admins might be necessary at this point. At the very least, the school should send our parent behavior reminders before the games. These 3 parents were obviously drunk and affected.

That’s your source? Really?

You are funny.

Fun fact: There is an entire thread in DCUM dedicated to this type of discussion. Lacrosse, lacrosse, and more lacrosse is needed. Which teams lose the most in the off season? Who finished as the top players at each position in the region? Any big movement for next season?

Fun fact: player/parent/fan behavior at LACROSSE games and what that says about LACROSSE culture is an appropriate topic, esp in the off-season. Promoting good sportsmanship is important, wouldn’t you agree?

The entitled don’t want anyone talking about their kids learned behaviors.

Did you know that Landon had a 97% acceptance rate in 23? Sounds like that is the safe school for boys.

Where are you finding this statistic?

Is this a shock? Who sends their kid to a small all boys schools?

You’ll need a cite for that number.

This sort of behavior isn’t seen at all all-boys schools.

97%? That sounds like anyone willing to pay the insane tuition.
