Totally legal check, not a cheap shot. Landon #4 was the one who lost his cool and targeted player after play and flag flew.
If a flag was thrown, it certainly wasn't a legal check. Typical Prep parent.
Right, because refs never get it wrong. 🙄🤣
4 wasn't on the receiving end of the check. However ill advised, 4 was trying to stand up for his goalie, who 0 illegally cross checked in the head. The goalie was still on the ground. Good Luck next season.
Yes, you are correct about 4 and 42, however, 4 did not step on O. See what I did there, I admitted what was clear on film. You still call
Lies. Good news there is video that shows the legal check to the chest (not the head). Nice try spreading fake news. Unfortunately for you there is video evidence that proves you are making up lies about teenagers. Shame on you.
Yeah, you are blind. Watch the video. Slow it down, maybe get out your magnifying glass. The first contact is at the neck with hands wide on the stick and following through to the helmet and head. I don't know 0, I have no reason to suspect he is anything less than a good person. It doesn't mean he didn't cross check the Landon player in the head. I can clearly see on the video what happened. I am not defending 4's cross check/push from behind on 0. See, I am not blinded by my biases. Again, Good Luck.
Don't forget Landon #42 running over to #0 and getting in his face after the play ended. His teammates had to pull him away. Two Landon players behaving badly, classy. I have watched the video also. You can call a penalty on #0 for a hard check, but it wasn't a cheap shot or egregious, it was a hard lacrosse check on a moving target. Aiming for chest and it hit his neck, but never his head. Goalie was up in less than 30 seconds and back in goal for the remainder of the game. Now Landon's #4 and #42, on the other hand, were cheap and egregious. #4 attacked #0 from behind, pushed him to the ground by hitting his back and head/helmet with his stick, then stomped on him and kicked his stick away. #42 then ran over after the play ended and got in #0 face aggressively and his teammates had to pull him away. Landon definitely the worse offenders and got lucky with only one call as they should have had two.
You are amazing. 0 cross checks the goalie in the head and neck. 0 earns a penalty. Might have been illegal in the eyes of the three officials who discussed the whole scenario. 4 retaliates and earns a penalty. Why do you think 4 retaliated and 42 got in his face? Maybe there were closer to the play than you. Maybe you can't see. I accept 4's action was worthy of a penalty. 42 was in 0's face. Big Deal. Big Big Big Deal. "In His Face." How about a cross check in the head and neck? What would you rather have? Someone in your face or cross checking you in the neck and head. I suspect you might like someone in your face. Not a great look for anyone. Good Luck.
Yeah, like the unhinged Landon dad who was in everyone’s face last year when they lost in the playoffs. Cursing and screaming at the refs from the stands after the game was over in front of kids. Kids learn from their parents, but I guess no big deal in the Landon world. Landon is always unhinged and behaving badly. Get a grip. Hard check got a penalty. Two Landon players retaliating, that’s unsportsmanlike. Typical.
Yeah Yeah Yeah, Landon behaving badly compared to Prep. So Funny. A Prep kid could assault a Gonzaga or Landon kid and Prep would act like nothing happened.

Bottom line is the players put in the time to be great. If you aren’t committed to your craft you won’t reach your full potential and thats on you. While you’re working on playing multiple sports someone that isn’t is getting that much better than you. I know many college coaches talk about multi-sport athletes but at the end of the day their top guys didn’t.
Watch some of Kobe Bryant on IG. Guy worked on his craft 3-4 times A DAY. Out worked everyone around him.
Maybe you or your kid isn't a good enough athlete to play more than one sport.
Maybe Epstein didn't play Football and Lacrosse, Maybe Geppert didn't play football and Lacrosse, Maybe Matt Ward didn't play football, basketball, and lacrosse, maybe Danny Gladding didn't play basketball and lacrosse, maybe maybe maybe.

Every publication out there from US Lacrosse, to IL Lacrosse, to even the Washington Post Rankings and even Mad Lax Media rankings, all of them ranks GP higher than SJC this Spring.
those are the facts...
