Skeptical of this rumor. Why would GFR do that? They’re not some small club looking to merge. They’re nearly as big as McLean.
If they wanted to be GA why wouldn’t they just apply to be GA? They’re seem to be looking to expand.

I doubt there will be any McLean teams better than NVA at any age group... We're back on track talking about McLean again.
If McLean and GFR merge (very likely as talks are going on) then that would send NVA into irrelevance.

this is a fact. A bunch of back and forth to sit on the couch come playoffs. They probably wont regret leaving. Its still ecnl placement but I KNOW some families are bitter lolAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:2012s for sure. 2011s have lost a ton of talent. RP having to start over has to be a little frustrated. Right now dominance in GA is up for grabs, NVA might be the default king of the hill but MYS doing what it can.
Definitely depends on the age groups
2010s and up possible. 2011 and lower are still strong.
Expect them not to keep the 12s.
But there also good talent or better who joined. RP won’t miss much there. In fact the players who left may regret it. Playoffs spots are reserved in Mid Atlantic to Arlington and RU.

Think a good amount of the NVA 2011’s came over with RP but does hurt losing the FVU girls to VDA. Expect FVU to be mid table.
Vda picked up talent…. From that other club from RP. The rest are hype who will have to deal with some serious defenders in the mid Atlantic much like last season. And we all know how that ended up.
