If it was gonna happen, 29 was the year it had to happen.
Here’s why: MDDC 30s are ranked #108, 31s are ranked #66, and 32s are ranked #63.
Unlike the 29s, BLC has much stronger teams in the pipeline whose players will likely head to Capital: BLC 30s are ranked #10, 31s are ranked #15, and the 32s are ranked #8.
MDDC 29s couldn’t keep their best players from leaving for Capital despite a current ranking of #14 (compared to BLC at #25.)
This was MDDC’s moment to overtake Capital.
It didn’t happen.
The only possible threat to Capital isn’t MDDC - it’s YJMA. But their teams in the pipeline are bouncing around a #30 ranking. Those players will likely seek to join BLC players on upcoming Capital teams.
Can’t see any club competing with Capital for the foreseeable future.
And it will be tough sledding ahead for MDDC.

They’ll have to wait until 2032 for their next potential shot (that team is currently ranked #15).
But they’ll face a big problem in BLC. Unlike the 29s, BLC has stronger teams in the pipeline in the foreseeable future whose players will likely head to Capital: BLC 30s are ranked #10, 31s are ranked #15, and the 32s are ranked #8.

For 2032 you were looking at M&D. Not M&D DC. That team is ranked 61.
