Kind of odd that the defense rolled out the red carpet for that breadth of testimony from Daniels.
Also, learn how your court system works. Witnesses don’t instruct the jury on the law. They can make that argument in a brief.
He was allowed to testify about facts and definitions. Trump’s lawyer didn’t call him. Nothing there to reverse.
Merchan ruled against him testifying. I saw it in the transcript

Please, pretty please put him in jail. You'll lose so many democrats in the house and senate, it woon't be funny.
"You will reap the whirlwind" - Chuck Schumer
Lolol - you bet you will!!

Meanwhile Biden can barely get a few dozen people in a school gymnasium. I don’t think these convictions are having the desired effect. I hate to think what is next in the Biden playbook.
Keep up the cope. It’ll keep you warm at night.
But really, go check out Trump’s UFC videos from yesterday. What really stands out is that his side seems to be having all the fun.
Meanwhile the Biden campaign has all the joy of a funeral procession. This is what happens when your voter base mostly consists of angry unmarried women.
Of course Trump + Republicans enjoy homoerotic fight club.
UFC is literally gayer than Drag Race.

Sorry but anyone who's going to try and claim that paying hush money to a porn star to cover up an affair using campaign funds and falsely pretending it was for legal funds isn't giving honest testimony.

The difference is SHE ADMITTED GUILT. Trump refused to own up to it and was so arrogant to think he could beat it in court. He thought he could claim he didn’t have sex with Daniels. Did you know the prosecution hadn’t even planned to call her? But since Trump tried to claim that he “never had sex with that woman“ she was called and she was credible and incredibly damaging. Then Trump tried to blame it on Cohen. Cohen was only there to , give color to all of the documentation proving Trump’s guilt.
This really was a documents case, with the most damning testimony coming from Trump‘s own people.
Had he just admitted guilt and taken a plea, like Cohen did, he would’ve never gone to court. But he thought he was smarter than everyone and now he’s a convicted felon.
Just because you admit guilt, that doesn’t mean you get off.
It wasn’t even close to being the same. The Clinton campaign reported the expense on its FEC report. The FEC made a BFD about the description of the expense, something they never ever do. The Clinton campaign paid the fine because that was cheaper than the legal costs of objecting to the nit-picking complaint.
The Clinton campaign paid for a fake dossier to use as a weapon against their opponent. It’s actually a bigger deal
Did HRC fabricate business docs to hide a crime? Because that is what Trump is convicted of, not actually paying off a porn star.
What Trump is guilty of is what mobs get caught for.
When you look at paying off a porn star and paying for fake information deliberately to smear you opponent, the latter is an ACTUAL crime.
Well, paying off a porn star isn't a crime, either. But, that's not why he was convicted. Maybe read the actual charge before you share your opinions.

OMG! Invoices, checks, and ledger entries!!!! This is what we convict the first president in history of a felony for?!!!!
George Bush tortured people. There are former presidents who put people in internment camps (FDR) and committed genocide (Andrew Jackson). And this is what this country gives out felonies for? 8 year old bookkeeping fraud?! Are you kidding me?
NY convicts people on this charge all the time. Are you saying that Trump should get special treatment? Either you believe in the rule of law or you don't.
plus- isn't this how they got Capone? on tax fraud.. do you honestly think heating in his taxes and selling illegal beer was teh only crime al Capone was guilty of?
Got it. So you think if a Red State doesn’t like a Dem president they should kick the tires and turn 8 year old fraudulent bookkeeping misdemeanors into felonies and try them in a rural district in front of a jury made up of gun toting, bible thumping deplorables to secure a conviction on “felony” charges.
You sure you want to go down this route as a country? This is how countries fall apart. This is actually the kind of stuff that Russia and China want. But you are so blinded by your myopic, childish partisan hatred that you can’t play this out 5-10 years down the road. This is going to end very, very badly.
So you’re blaming the 12 jurors who convicted him? All it took was 1 juror to disagree for a hung jury. Trump got a lot more than 8% of the vote in NYC, so if the charges were unfair he should have beaten the rap with ease, just based on simple probability.
Democrats hated George W. Bush, yet he was never arrested or charged with anything after his second term ended.
The Manhattan DA can’t charge GW for war crimes and GW didn’t live in a Blue State who could change the laws and bring him to trial for insignificant crimes like the ones Trump was convicted for.
The moral of this story is that you should never run for president if you’re a Dem from a Red State or a Republican from a Blue State because you’re always going to have to worry about being brought up on trumped up (pun intended) charges when you leave office. This is not a good precedent to set.
This was never an issue before Trump came along. He has been impeached twice, has 90-something indictments, 34 convictions and many close associates charged with and convicted of felonies. Didn’t happen to Bush. Didn’t happen to Obama. Occam’s Razor: Isn’t it likely that Trump is just different than everyone else?
It’s more likely he is being gone after because of what he knows and what he plans to expose. Look at what you wrote - that smells of goverment fear
You are not paying attention. He exposes whatever he wants to expose all day every day. He drones on and in and on and on about all of it relentlessly. No one can stop him.
I’m paying full attention. I’ve never seen anyone prosecuted by the DOJ and leftists states and Trump has been.
Hey PP, what do you think about Trump's outright lie here - do you think, meh? Or "that's my Donny!"? Curious minds want to know!
'Cause he's either lying or else it's the dementia making him forget (be sure to watch the second video).
Thanks for your honest answer.
