This only happens because Nadir is the coach and gets free passes to do and undo as the pleasing calls… go figure.

I care because I have a 2007 player and am wondering what type of sh**show we will be in next year when they add 10 players to the roster

Switch to BRYC and DD can take the places those players just vacated.

Kids have a lot of things going on at this age with school, other sports, extra-curricular activities and family/friends stuff. If anything having a big roster would probably make it easier to the kid/family to say 'no' to a game/practice for x reason. Practice is where the coach will make the decision for the weekend roster. If your kid is serious about the game, but isn't making the weekend roster, then they need to work on their game, improve their foot skills, touch, endurance, decision-making. Whatever it is they need to do they have to show improvement. Though, I would imagine the coach does rotate players for that big of a roster. My only concern is with 28 players I wonder where the player talent drops off? Or maybe it doesn't and that's why the roster is that big? Or maybe the coach sees potential in some of the less skilled players that just need to continue to develop? Or maybe it's just about the $$$?

Each ECNL team can add 2 discovery players. You would have to reach out to the teams to see.

VDA has VSA and PWSI players train and play with VDA teams.
