Yes, I'll lie about our family's travel because it's nobody's business what we do when our kids aren't in school.
Deal with it.
You’re a selfish a-hole. You don’t need to keep repeating it. We get it.
And my kids will be sitting next to your kids. Breathing on them, and spreading their Florida Delta covid germs.
Enjoy the rest of your summer. 🤣
Wow. I’m think this travel rule is asinine, and that we need to come down from the Covid hysteria now that we have vaccines, that people should enjoy their lives and make sure their kids enjoy their lives, and that kids should have been in school last year and certainly from here on out… But you really sound like a psychopath.
I mean the Florida Covid is a completely different strain than the Eastern Shore Covid. We all know that.
+1
and my eastern shore Covid can kiss your Florida Covid and they will become one
truely magical

You may lie and still sleep well at night, but I'd prefer to be honest. I guess I'm just a better person than you.
Maybe you are.
Your sense of self-righteousness plus $4 will buy you a latte.
Definitely a better person - I'm not encouraging my kids to lie. What terrible parenting and values. "Hey kids, going on vacation is SO important that we are going to risk your health and the health of your classmates. If you or one of them dies from COVID, oh well, at least I got my vacation." Seriously messed up.
NP but is this really how you see things? Leave the DMV and you will kill people with COVID, but stay in the DMV ( which includes the cluster that is the Eastern Shore) and you are an honest good person who won’t kill anyone.”
NP, but it's just the pandemic morality identity that some have adopted. I suppose the uncertainty of the pandemic made people need to cling to rules to make them feel safe, not matter how non-sensical the rules. The added bonus is getting to look down on others!
I personally didn't need a pandemic to look down on others who lie and encourage their children to do so! If you all want to go to Florida and get COVID, go for it. Just don't give it to my kid. I don't care if you kill your own kids.
NP. Wow. You don’t sound like a particularly good person either.
lol but she's a SAINT. a rule-abiding saint. you see, she will not lie because that is BAD, but kids dying is a-okay if they aren't hers! this is like southern baptist church lady logic. surely jesus would have agreed.
Right? I definitely want to be lectured on honesty and morality by someone who says they don’t care if people kill their own kids.
Why should I care about your kids if you don't seem to? It's my responsbility to care that you are prioritizing vacation with your unvaccinated kids instead of keeping them safe? Your logic isn't sound. Either you're putting your kids at risk or not. I think you are but have no control over that. If you think that's bad then you acknowledge that you are putting your kids at risk...so you expect me to care more about your kids then you do? Doesn't make sense.

I mean most of our social safety nets for children are based on the idea that citizens care about children regardless of how their parents feel about them. Would you say the same type of statement to a parent who is abusive to their kid? Why should I care more about your kid than you do? I just think your argument is just as selfish as those you claim are bringing covid and therefore death to classmates by driving to grandma’s in Delaware. So your logic makes no sense.
I don't think someone who is lying and prioritzing leisure travel over their child's safety should be lecturing me about citizenship because you clearly don't understand the concept or the obligations it entails.

My child will be at an unmasked indoor event in FL in fall. I sure as hell wouldn't want him around a kid in school has done the same. We'll follow the regulations, even if that means missing school sadly.
I think the vast majority of people who will keep their travel quiet aren’t going to unmasked events in Florida. They are visiting grandma in Pennsylvania, or going to the beach in Delaware. I would hope that most people who are actually doing something risky would abide by the policies. Who wants their kid to be the one that brings Covid into the school?
Well I'm also going to opt out of testing for my kid, so we'll never know if it was my kid!
Of COURSE you are. Unmitigated trash.![]()
