If Dr. McKnight wants to rebuild relationships, then why are IEP / 504 Meetings still virtual? When was the last time school staff have met face to face students these plans are for?

Dr. McNight’s vision is falling flat on staff that still want to work from home.

If you read through the FY22 budget for Special Education you will see the MCPS data that students with disabilities are not meeting state targets for placement in the least restrictive environment. Also look at the numbers of students just dumped into Resource classes as a one size fits all program.
