Virginia Union seems to me to be total fraud on the boys side. SYC kids were used as window dressing at tryouts to elevate the level of play and hook others in but they won’t be on the ECNL team. Would be surprised if this alliance makes it through the summer. You have to wonder if it was ever intended to be permanent or if was a pure marketing ploy from the beginning. What’s the point of joint practices when the MLS team and coach all live 10 miles from the ECNL team and coach? What am I missing?

If they take the orange and green colors from the University of Miami and use some of their design patterns VA Union might have some sharp uniforms.

#1 -- Still a factor, just Add all the extra costs for ECNL travel.
#2 -- Some players might be ok, but top (11) SYC MLS Next players (Full-time players) cannot play in other leagues due to MLS Next rules.
#3 -- They will practice together, bye Quality vs. Quantity
#4 -- Uniforms color suck
