Yes. Why though did Chauvin initially place his knee on George Floyd’s neck? How did this event transpire? I didn’t see body cam of this. And where were the other officers when this was happening?

I keep wondering if Chauvin will take the stand and be forced to answer this question.

This is key for the defense because Chauvin clearly kept Floyd in a hold - a hold that is allowable at least momentarily to subdue someone - long past the point when Floyd had stopped struggling. They have to have some excuse for why he stayed on him like that. I don’t think “the crowd distracted me” will fly but clearly they think it will help.

Right. Just as the prosecutors have a job to do, the defense attorneys have a job to do, and the duty is to the client, though the court of public opinion will be condemning the defense attorneys. Failure to do their job could result in an inadequate representation appeal.

Chauvin did not have his hands in the pocket but he had black gloves and his hand towards the upper thigh.

They did know each other because they both worked security at the same club. I don’t think there has been testimony about this yet but it was widely reported at the time.

Yes and as I've stated on here previously there are vans for transport. They could have de-escalated the situation by saying ok look I don't believe you but I hear you. Let's take a 5min pause on the sidewalk and I'll see if we can get a transport van. If there isn't a van available for quick transport we will need you to get into the car. I can't have you ride in the front seat but if it'll help we can crack the windows. I'm willing to work with you here.

Instead they did this and btw there were multiple cops on him even after he was dead. He was not a rapist he was not a murder he didn't shoot up a school he didn't have a weapon. He was an above average height male with wide shoulders and some muscle who was accused, not necessarily guilty, of counterfeit money. Like JFC.

He went on to say he wasn’t a bad guy and couldn’t breathe and his wrists hurt. He was fighting the cops the entire time. Floyd must have been a threat at some point though. Why the need to restrain then? No way should Chauvin have attempted or have been expected to do this alone though. Why didn’t any other officer assist?

Even if he was a threat at some point, it's irrelevant. Chauvin had his hands in his pocket as he dug his knee into George Floyd's neck. Cleary he felt zero threat.

It think the arrest just quickly escalated and when officers placed Floyd in the police car, apparently George was thrashing and smashed his face on the glass, injuring his lip. It is then that they pulled him out to the ground to restrain him. That Chauvin continued to restrain him even after there was no threat, and was pleading for his life, makes Chauvin guilty. Didn’t Chauvin even ask Floyd, “What do you want?” to which he replied that he couldn’t breath, and Chauvin did nothing to help him or change his position. I think it became personal.

There is several video footage on this, google it and hold your breath because it's very sad.

The video I saw shows two cops struggling to get Floyd into the back of the patrol car, Floyd was shouting that he couldn’t breath in the back of the patrol car and his wrists hurt. Floyd didn’t remain in the back of the patrol car and ended up on the ground outside of the car. Why?
