Any moron can tell you the difference, ECNL has a higher level of competition while CCL is a joke of a league SYC only has the luxury of combining two clubs (LMVS and SYC) to form a somewhat decent team eventually Arlington will get the last laugh while SYC stays in CCL

Considering SYC is two leagues lower than Arlington, now that they are in ECNL, not scoring a goal and losing by 2 is about as much a spanking as you can get. Ask yourself how the game went.

There was a lot of bragging in here about Arlington getting in ECNL and now one of your teams of the future lost to a CCL team next door. It is pretty hilarious.

Oh please. The initial response to the post about SYC’s victory was congratulating those kids by reminding all of them about how that better team would be in a “lower” league next year. That doesn’t seem like a really good attitude about kids. Nor are all the tweets broadcasting routs over other U11 teams. But yes, now that Arlington is losing, it’s all about the kids and their delicate psyches.

I wasn’t part of those earlier discussions so I am not responsible for them. I think anyone who indulges in open schadenfreude directed at children needs to examine their values and priorities a bit. Celebrate the wins, but there’s no virtue in needlessly beating kids down for their losses just to boost your own sense of worth. Let’s be better, and model better for our kids.

Please direct your comments to Arlington about being better and better role models for kids. Arlington parents have been engaging in this kind of chest-beating 24/7/365. You should call that out if you mean what you say. If not, your hypocrisy is rank.
