Yes, infidelity is very difficult, and I am sure you are going through a lot, but it is not PTSD. My brother has PTSD after his tour in Iraq. You don't.


The body/brain doesn’t care what the trauma was or how “bad.” If one has symptoms of PTSD, you have PTSD.


It’s a compound thing too.

If someone has had previous traumas in their life, it doesn’t take a huge one to eventually crack and become ptsd.

The last sentence is very true. The biggest lie is that they aren’t hurting anyone by what they are doing.

In my case, the other woman would have been in kindergarten when my husband and I met in college. She knew he had a wife and kids. I said she probably had daddy issues. Husband was really offended by that because they had such a beautiful connection, it had nothing to do with anything like that. Later, I found out she was dealing with her father’s instability due to his mental illness. Men don’t only lie to their APs; sometimes they lie to themselves as well.
