The title is an attempt to elevate their DD's status by association of playing for the club and seeking confirmation from the online community. For the poster it isn't enough that their DD is on a good soccer team because it is all meaningless unless the online community acknowledge her exceptionalism through praise of her club as also being exceptional.
In short, Mom or Dad are simply fishing for compliments and when we can't brag about our kid specifically we look for the closest thing to praise that she is affiliated with.

VDA teams are good and playing well. Weaker ages aging out and younger feeder systems from PWSI and VSA doing their jobs. New ECNL Director benefited from what was in place but so far doesn’t look from the outside like he has done anything to hinder the progress. Time will tell how he does.

VDA has been aging out their weaker teams each year. It has nothing to do with the director. It has to do with the player pipeline. New director vs old director does not matter.
Scott got a a raw deal and now new director comes in and enjoys the benefits of the work of the previous director.
