It's called private school, and there's a reason many are located in that area after people with means got sick of MCPS.

Sick is the wrong choice of words. They were frustrated after demanding changes hat favored their children at everyone else's expense and being ignored.

You obviously don't know the history of MCPS or the area private schools.
Do you know which one came first?

Privates came first. Privates were the only option till 1860 when MCPS was established.

Nope. No one believes this, even married couples without kids gets. Mcps is a shell of itself 15-20+ years ago, and so is the county.

What the PP means is: they don't like all those foreign-born people who live in Montgomery County these days.

Just stop. Now you’re completely unhinged and reading into things that aren’t there. Bored? No protests today? Some advice: you will always be offended if you’re always looking to be offended.

Who said anything about being offended? It was a statement of fact.

No, you’re a malcontent and drama seekers. Always on the lookout for perceived slights and dog whistles that exist only in your warped, little mind.

Agree - the people pushing this are malcontents and drama seekers. Always blowing a dog whistles to further their segregationist agenda.

This is so laughable. I'm sorry the county is more concerned with the welfare of all children, not just a few privileged folks, but if that doesn't work for you by all means go private. We're glad to see you go.

That’s all false, get the update. And it’s Yale or jail. Plus all the free GW, AU, Gtown college course you can take for free and for credit if you’re gifted. What does mcps do, send you to moco community college?

Dcps is the same barbell as MCPS: tons of good performing students, and tons of terrible performing students. But mcps really takes the cake for self-imposed destruction of the whole system for everybody. Dcps doesn’t do that.

And why does mcps only have even gifted programs or magnets seats for 1% of its students and not 4-5% like other districts in VA, NY, ma, etc. Must not have enough talented students that need a bigger challenge, right?

C'mon. If you're going to throw shade, why does DCPS send so many special ed students to MCPS?

DCPS isn't sending special needs kids to MCPS. They may send them to privates located in MoCo but they are paying for that. Those schools with higher scores in MCPS are bussing the kids out of those schools into other schools which raise the scores.

Georgetown Day was established in 1945.

Landon was established in 1929.

Bullis was established in 1930.

Stone Ridge was established in 1923.

Tell me more about how "people of means" were fleeting MCPS because it was going down the drain in the 1920s.

We can see thru your white hood.

What? Oh so only klansmen hate protests? Do you think that makes any sense? 64% of Americans call the protests and violence the biggest concern right now. Wow, that’s a lot of white hoods so whatever you said. You’re obsessed with race baiting. I hear Portland needs more rioters. Maybe you should join Antifa?

We had an equestrian team, go kart racing, Olympic pool, 32 tennis courts, free drivers Ed, free SAT tutors was glorious not sending out tax dollars to support deadbeats in other towns

That's nice. Why don't you raise your kids there so they don't have to mix with poor kids?

we try, but some are convinced that if only illiterate poor kids could only wittiness my kids doing algebra and going to lacrosse practice then hundreds of years of being exploited and abused will disappear.

So, you moved back to your "way back out town" with their own school district, but some liberals moved in and decided to allow in more poor kids and now your school district has gone down the tubes?

Do these "deadbeats" have jobs? If not, how do you know this? If they do have jobs, then how are they "deadbeats"?

Troll score: was 6/10 when you posted, but the posters responding seriously have raised it to an 8/10. Nice work!
