Yes, that's in the conditions but hasn't stopped fleeing murderers before.

The judge set the bond at $500,000 and Morphew must surrender his passport and cannot travel or reside outside of Chaffee County. He has been ordered to wear an ankle monitor.

Update on the case -

The affidavit accuses Barry Morphew of taking “steps to control her, incapacitate her, stage a crime scene and create his alibi for her disappearance.”

By May 9, the document continues, “it had become clear that Barry could not control Suzanne’s insistence on leaving him, and he resorted to something he has done his entire life — hunt and control Suzanne like he had hunted and controlled animals.”

Uh oh case closed - they found signs of forced entry on her bedroom door and a bullet casing on the floor.

Undersheriff Andy Rohrich told the court that Suzanne's purse also contained large quantities of cash and her driver license and credit cards.

He also said a .22 caliber unspent round was found next to Suzanne's bed in the master bedroom of the Morphew home, while cracks were found in the doorframe.

Rohrich said in his experience, the cracks were consistent with a forced entry. He said he had spoken to the previous owner of the property who told him the cracks were not there when he sold the Morphews the home.
