Private colleges can admit whomever they wish. Public schools usually have a state mandated minimum number of in-state students. Would you suggest that State universities only serve people from that state, or are OOS ok? if OOS is ok, then why not international? Universities are for exchange of ideas. Having people from all over the world on a campus is part of the attraction. Putting any sort of limits on how a school wants its student body to be comprised seems like a really bad idea.

Same mindset here. Although I know a kid going to Grand Canyon University (for-profit mill) who is a valedictorian and I am shocked.

STA publishes the list every Fall in their school magazine.
