There's a different shortage now. Still not enough tests. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/10/coronavirus-testing-lab-materials-shortage-125212

Why hasn’t Virginia declared a state of emergency yet?

Yes, as things heat up, all the info sites are getting dimmer. They say it's because commercial labs are now doing tests in VA. Is this already happening? Cause we still only have 61 results.

And what happened to the people under monitoring? Are they not doing that anymore?

“It's fair to say that, as the trajectory of the outbreak continues, many people in the United States will at some point in time, either this year or next, be exposed to this virus and there's a good chance many will become sick," Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said earlier this week.

“This seems to be a disease that affects adults and most seriously older adults," Messonnier said. "Starting at age 60, there is an increasing risk of disease and the risk increases with age."

I live in Tysons area. I'll post anything reliable that I learn.

Are you on Nextdoor? Could you see if there’s anything on there? Thanks

It is really unlikely that he’s frequented public places near DHHQ. It is a large complex with cafeterias, dry cleaner, gym, etc. Except for a holiday or going away lunch up at 2941 most civilians and active duty military drive, park, go into the building, and then come back out to go to their car to leave for the evening. There are those who who shuttle to/from Dunn Lorring metro but if it’s the patient from Fredericksburg, I don’t see that being the case here.

I wondered what that building became when it was no longer Raytheon. It’s completely unmarked, gated, secured by armed guards, and when I drive past, I see them walking around cars waiting to enter with mirrors to check underneath. It’s pretty intense.

The 2345 crystal dr one is just office space. Amazon people moved in there temporarily though there are lots of different tenants there. I'm in the one next door, connected by a hallway. Both building tenants go to the Starbucks in the middle. It was still jan packed on Friday and Monday when I went. That Starbucks is such a high traffic place that it frequently has 20 mobile orders sitting on its counter even as people keep on coming in to pick up theirs.

I just realized this is a different location from the 2 Crystal City buildings announced yesterday. According to Arlington Now it was 11th floor of 2345 Crystal Drive. Only tenant on that floor I know of is Amazon but they saying it wasn’t their office
