Actually, there's a company called Adorn that rents diamond jewelry to brides. I.e., a huge diamond cuff would look best with your style of gown, but you can't afford a $50k cuff, you can rent it for a few hundred bucks.

Okay...she didn't say that, we all said she may as well get a bigger ring and do some good in the world at the same time.

I guess I don't get why you care that she's getting a bigger lab diamond than she would mined...because she couldn't buy a mined 2ct. stone? I don't get why that matters. She is saying she can afford 1ct. mined or a 2ct. lab...they are about the same price. She's not asking how to put a diamond ring on layaway.

James Allen and Brilliant Earth, Clean Origins, Leo DiXaprio has diamond foundry or whatever it’s called. Check with jeweler first though to see if he can get you a good price.

Opened this thread bc i inherited a gorgeous setting w/o a stone. I want it for a right hand ring but feel silly buying a big diamond for it. What is a good source for lab created diamonds? I want to order the diamond & take it to my local jeweler to set it. Am I correct that it will look ok to have real diamonds in the setting & lab as the stone?
