In order of polling favorite.
Moore: Inspirational story. Ambitious. Backed by Wall Street $.
Franchot: Takoma Park, party machine, bitter, political hack.
Baker: Lazy campaign with no animating purpose except that a lot of elderly people in PG County have muscle memory voting for him.
Perez: Even bigger party hack. Takoma Park. Proven incompetent in leadership roles.
King: Not clear if campaign is a fundraising con.
Does anyone have similar insight on the R candidates?

Kelly Schulz will literally be an extension of Larry Hogan, and has my vote over the clown car of a democratic field.
If Schulz makes it out of the Republican primary.

As long as she doesn’t say something stupid about abortion, I think she has a good chance to win.

Really, thanks for informing us that Steele, a Republican, would first have to win the Republican primary. I think the implied point was that one Democrat at least would consider voting for Steele in the general, depending presumably on who the Democrats nominate.
So, what do you think are the chances of him doing that?
Why not? Are you implying that Republicans wouldn't nominate a black guy? They did in my state (VA), on the Republican ticket, and I voted for him. Unfortunately, the Democrats won the general. (Now if I used the same tact that liberals use, I'd say "those Democrats wouldn't vote for the black guy. They're raaaaaacist!")
But I know it's all about policy, color irrelevant.
