He committed bank fraud by supplying financial information to Deutche Bank that are different from his tax returns. His tax returns likely also show debt greater than asset value and loans from sources that, to put it bluntly, may not be legal.

More often than not, tax cheats get away with heavy fines in lieu of prison sentences. Trump, like many very wealthy people, will continue to throw monkey wrenches into the judicial system with appeal after appeal and other rope-a-dope tactics until revenue agencies finally become open to a low-punitive settlement.

Trump has always been the one to break the norms. I do think he is going to prison.

Florida won't voluntarily extradite to NY. This would go to Federal Courts. Or Trump will flee the country, and would go to the Feds for that reason.
