I’m guessing you have no friends or acquaintances in the entertainment or modelling industries, because you obviously have no concept of why#metoo was so big in those industries, or whatbit takes to actively work in those industries. If you are not willing to actively market yourself constantly, and to some degree “social climb” in order to place and network yourself with who is hiring, then there’s no point in even trying to get ahead.

I’m also assuming you’ve never known anyone who has actually gone from rags to riches, and have seen how it changes relationships. Why do you think so many celebrities children of celebrities and the very rich? They never have to be one is a sea of hundreds/thousands of similar faces trying to “make it”.

Kate never had to socially climb as her parents did it for her by placing her right in Will’s sightline, more or less, from the time they returned to the UK.

Megan's dad sold her out to tabloids MULTIPLE TIMES leading up to the wedding. A good well adjusted and supportive parent doesn't do that, even if he is being mistreated by his kid. No good caring parent trades the possibility of a good relationship in the future for a check from TMZ. Why are you so invested in propping up her fame who*e dad?

Meghan Markle is very well educated by American standards and her father paid a lot of money for her education over several decades.

She attended exclusive private grade school in California
followed by Catholic high school despite the family
being Protestant. She graduated from Northwestern
College.

Clearly Meghan's father was invested in Meghan getting
a quality education. I'd say comparing Meghan's education
to Kate's I'd say they were pretty comparable in terms
of "classy" educations.

The beef I have with Meghan is the fact that she never
introduced her Dad or Mom in a face to face to her boyfriend prior to engagement. I think she knew
that her Dad, despite being a loving Dad, and providing
an expensive education over decades, and also
getting her started in her career, was simply
not up to royal standards. Harry and Meghan both
could have come up with $300 bucks to fly so that
Harry could meet her Dad or had her Dad flown
to the US or another neutral location so that Harry could
meet her Dad. If she had been normal, classy and
proactive about Harry meeting Dad it is possible none of the other tawdry stuff may have come up BUT Meghan
did not want any barriers to marrying Harry so did
not push for a meeting with her Dad. We know that
William and Williams grandfather thought there were
red flags to the relationship.

I believe since Meghan thought her Dad was not up
to upper crust standards she did not initiate a meeting
and in fact led Harry to believe that she did not
have a happy family life. Her goal was to clinch the deal
with Harry.

The way she treated her Dad through the whole
debacle reads as "unclassy." Again, who does not
want their Dad to meet their future husband
particularly when time off of work and money to
travel is no problem.

Those who were particularly classy through the
whole drama were Meghan's ex husband,
Meghan's Canadian celebrity chef who she
was dating concurrent to Harry and also
Meghan's chef boyfriend's Mom who were
extremely classy throughout the whole ordeal.

Meghan's 1/2 million dollar extravagant baby shower reads
particularly as unclassy, tacky and nouveau riche.

Clearly I haven’t given it as much thought as some people, but I think MM seems like a smart and kind person. I’ve only seen one interview but she spoke very well, she was articulate and poised. It was easy to see why Harry would have been attracted to her. Wish her and her family all the best.

What's crazy in all of this is how the MM haters expend their energy on MMs inconsequential behavior while giving a pass to the awful royal men. I mean I am pretty neutral in this (I find both Kate and MM inoffensive at best), but the royal men, including Harry, have a history of asshole behavior.

So, why isn’t Kate same backlash, even from you, because she’s all of these things too? The big difference is Meghan is choosing grittier causes to bring attention to, while Kate prefers to be the patron saint of children’s sports.

It’s not the Royals job to do other people’s jobs. It’s their job to attend these charities and bring attention to them, which hopefully will end to better funding, donations, understanding of the cause. That helps people like you keep jobs, get raises, and the resources you need to do your work successfully.
