Why are there still posts about Nashville here? Guess what? It's a function of the players. Barca NY and Barca Arizona are thriving. Sorry about your luck, but this sent the place to talk about it.

Yes and two were signed overseas. It was a small group of kids that graduated last year. Their upper age groups are small, often 1 team.
Who are they ? where are they playing in college and who were the others and where overseas are they playing?
I honestly don't remember their names, but last year at the end of the year, they had a closing ceremony and listed the players' names and colleges and the two player's names and the pro club they signed with. I think if you contact Barca directly, they can give you the particulars. And they have a program called Next Level that has staff just focused on that. I've been talking to them about my son, and they have helped connect us with some good universities. I'm confident my son will get recruited because of help from Barca.
The two players, who were mentioned at the closing ceremony, got a tryout with Europa FC, a Gibraltar team, but I don't believe they were signed. At least, I don't see them on the official roster. I presume they did not make it, although both are good players.

It varies by age group. For example, for the senior team last year, Garnet was their top team and for the 2003 team, Blue was their top team. And so on. Although players often figure that out for themselves, Barca tries not to make it obvious and to keep players from focusing on that.
Really? Why wouldn't you want your players to strive to be on the top team? Thats like saying DC United and Loudoun United are the same. Just train hard with no reward for being better than the rest. doesn't really make sense, Almost promotes non competitiveness . Am I wrong?

, but it was a very nice closing ceremony and send off for the players leaving for college. The entire club and all teams were there. They very actively help with college recruitment and they had quite a few college coaches out at Evergreen last year. We aren't focused on college soccer. Been there, done that. I am much more concerned about education. I also know the odds, $ available (or, more likely, not available), etc. Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:What are the color designations for each team ? meaning which is their A,B,C, teams?
