Did anyone receive rejections today? Also, are there any similarities - like last name is A or Z? I hate the USPS wild card factor.

No, although last year there was a mistake and wait-list letters were sent out to all rejected families. I can't recall, however, if that was for CES or middle school magnets.

You have to keep in mind that CoGAT score is not the only basis of acceptance to the CES.

No universal screening, only a portion of potentially high scorers took the test.

How's this for dicotomy: I live upcounty - didn't even know my kid took the test (thought you had to register like I did with my older kid years ago). Definitely wouldn't let her take a bus to another school. Waitlisted with 56% mcps /89% national.
