Their top 07 team played up as 06

McLean and Arlington both have solid 2008 teams but it may be hard to break in unless your daughter is clearly superior to the existing team. The Great Falls-Reston 2008 team (feeder for Spirit DA as of this year) is actually pretty solid too, though they lack a keeper.

How is the Great Falls-Reston 07 team? This team will form the core of WSVA DA 07 next year.

Is that FCV's top team listed in those results? Pretty stark.

Where will they find players for next year's U13 GDA squad? Loudoun?

Yes, that's FCV's 08 top team. I think they lost several players going in to this year. I guess it shows.

The 07 team listed for FCV is not their top team. The 08 is but was 3-1-1 in NPL, so I'm not sure what is 'stark' about that other than they got hammered by Richmond.

How did they only play 5 NPL games? Richmond is really good so not surprising that they would beat any area 08 team.

If you're willing to drive west/south from Fairfax then PWSI is also a good option at 2008.

PWSI 08 plays really well. Good skills, good team. Looks like they've been coached well.

If FCV can no longer draw players away from other teams such as Loudoun at the younger ages, the future of their younger age teams does not look so bright.

You would be better off having your daughter come to the 07 WS VA DA ID session this weekend if she can play 07 DA for a year for Spirit she would be be more attractive to Spirit or FCV 08 DA teams in a year.

Wow - so WAGS mismanaged things poorly, merged with NCSL and it sucks? Good going!!!
Who doesn’t have u11 and u12 divisions?? Those are usually the divisions with the most teams.
