It's the level of fear that keeps them quiet. They all have witnessed black-balling of players firsthand.
Without naming names of course, can you tell me more about ASA then? What sort of black-balling? I'm looking for options. I know no club is perfect, but I need a new set of garbage to deal with.

That cost is an estimate. Spirit will easily cost $10,000 once the travel is added on, all while every roster is maxed out to the gills and your child may not be rostered for ridiculous reasons mostly having to do with spreading around play time on a roster that large. Just buyer be ware.
All the programs cost the same. The real cost is in the travel anyway. All the clubs attend the same showcases which have the same travel demands.
There are no bargains, either by club or by league when comparing ECNL to DA.
The poster is asking about what programs cost. Spirit is $10,000. Let the other parents from other clubs post their costs too, rather than speculate. If they are all that much, then that's what they are.
Well I will eagerly wait for someone to post a lower price, just remember to scrutinize the numbers a bit as many clubs like to claim lower training fees but then add other costs here and there.
But, for DA clubs the travel is nearly identical and those prices will generally fall inline with each other club. ECNL travel can only be compared with other ECNL clubs as their travel requirements are different than DAs. Also, the age group makes a big difference. U13’s and 14’s are cheaper due to less travel and U15s-U17s travel the most.
Actually, ECNL travel is very similar to DA. We went to FL last year. So did they. We went to SD. They went to Seattle. And so on down the line.

Wow! Germany? The whole club? That's amazing! What did they do in Germany? And yes, if FCV posters want to post while subtracting Germany, that's fine. Say it's 10k + an added $3500 for Germany. I welcome full disclosure.

It's a fair point. I'm just saying that a poster can post what their bottom line was and qualify. Like this was for last year's Ux team, and in addition to the DA showcases, we went to Disney, etc.

Not the whole club; a single team. Is that a routine trip? Was it optional or mandatory? That's quite an undertaking.

No, they were cheaper out the gate. Even their base fees were cheaper. I have no idea what their fees are now, but then I haven't been looking at ECNL clubs either.
Again, I'd honestly like to know what their fees are. Bottom line, full deal. I can add on SD if I need to. ECNL also does 3 big showcases.

I agree. I actually would like a bottom line final price. I'm not saying DA is higher. Actually VDA was cheaper last year as a DA than the others. I for one was sorry to see them leave because if they had stayed, I'd have checked them out.

You must be from FCV. Not every club is the same. None are perfect, but each has a different set of problems. The key is to find the problems you can live with. That's like saying FCV = Spirit = ASA = McLean. That's the so silly, I think you need to rethink it. Maybe you meant something else.
