Potomac is terrible this year. They were beaten badly by Bishop Ireton.

Is this about the fist fight this year that some of them got into with another school? That was only a few of the lax players that also play football. Not fair to blame the entire lax team.

Potomac lost several strong players last year. They are in a re-building year.

Reminds me of about five years ago, when "Powerhouse" Prep, ranked first in the country, fell to STA, which had won very few games to that point. WaPo ran a story on it. High school lacrosse is unpredictable.

They were also beating STA by 3 or 4 goals throughout the first and second quarter and then won by 8.

Sure, but Prep got their act together, played like they know how to, and killed STA in the 4th.

One upset win over a not as dominant as usual Landon team and the program is re-invigorated. When was it ever invigorated in the last 25 years besides 2007? Pump the brakes until the season is about 8 games old and lets see where things stand.

7 - 0

7-1.

But they are just starting into the IAC juggernaut.

How badly did Prep beat STA last night? I thought STA was on track to win IAC this year??
