Where is the peer cohort variable in this? In most catchment areas, it seems to have overridden a lot of the quantitative variables you've listed. either as a strong positive weighting or a strong negative weighting.

And you know that isn't remotely true, the peer cohort excluded higher performing students in favor if lower performing students in attempt to rebalance the demographic numbers but after minority kids from further out locations didn't accept spots, it ended up being DCC white kids. Yuck.

Fine by me, we're all federal and state dept workers living in silver spring taking the red line to work. We can afford to live in DCC and we love it! We live by Blair and we all get into its magnet program just fine.

This makes a number of assumptions that haven't been established. Nevertheless, it seems like a win-win for those students who get accelerated classes without having to leave their home school Just goes to show you can't please some MCPS parents even though many had been clamoring for exactly this.

This is a very powerful letter and set of information. I hope White & Case do this on a pro bono basis and just swamp Central Office with requests for discovery.
