Because that's what's trendy now. It's all about getting clicks.

She mentioned having some really dark times in the past year, but then she had started an anti-depressant and was feeling better. I don't know what happened between then and now-- it's sad and terrifying. As for the tone of the post: that's just the way she writes, and she probably wanted to put the story out there instead of inviting speculation about an extended radio silence. She probably didn't want to share about it at all; I certainly don't envy the position she's in now.

She has made references to money being tight from time to time and I *do* recall something about affording preschool for the oldest, where some readers may have offered to crowd-source. Can't find it now but to my knowledge she never actually did that.
She did have a tummy tuck. She also wrote a lot about her and her husband's weight loss/exercise regimen, which helped her avoid lipo. The woman is open, clearly.
She's been writing about her depression and anxiety this time around since 2016. I think she's had struggles in the past though, based on her posts.
She wrote some really lovely and poignant posts when her father died. Honestly, she's not like Glennon, who I can't stand. She's pretty real, pretty relatable. Again, I can't relate to putting my whole life on the internet - but I can relate to a lot of her life.
Struggling with anxiety and depression are relatable to me, too. And when my kids are much older, I will be open with them about it. But not when they're only grade schoolers and teenagers.

Yes, she drinks.

I fear she’ll either crack under the strain of trying to keep the charade up or someone who knows her will spill the beans about how far away from the truth is her and the kids’ reality.
