There is an undercurrent of antisemtism here. As you say, a lot of effort to make a young Jewish guy look bad. Otherwise, why was his religion brought up so early in the thread? I wonder if it the same PP who posted something about "young right-wing Jews" elsewhere, and not in a flattering light.
I think when someone is being accused of being a neo-nazi, the fact that they're Jewish is relevant.
One would also think sexual alignment would be relevant as to whether someone is anti-gay or not as well, but there have been numerous instances of conservatives who are publicly on the forefront of vicious anti-gay rhetoric and legislation ending up themselves being caught up in gay sex scandals. As examples Larry Craig, Ted Haggard, David Dreier, Mark Foley, there have been many. And I would also point to folks like Milo Yiannopoulos as well, who is gay but who is a huge cheerleader for the most staunchly anti-gay.
In the murk of the conservative world, up is down, down is up, and not all is what it seems.
In summary, YES it is entirely, very much possible in the conservative world that a Jew could end up promoting white supremacists. His being a Jew rules absolutely nothing out.
Please. The "conservative world?" Now your bigotry toward conservatives is showing. You act as though these fringe hate groups, comprising maybe 1% of the population, are part of mainstream Republicans.
Most conservative Jews are Orthodox, or observant Conservatives (in the religious meaning) and identify strongly as Jews. Believe me, they are not marching alongside neo-Nazis yelling "kill the Jews." It is not happening, and I don't see any legitimate reason you keep perpetrating this lie.

The issue of him being Jewish was brought up by the intern himself in his mealy-mouthed excuse issued to the press. No one else brought it up, or was even aware of his Jewish background, until he brought it up himself.
It's a laughable leap of logic that he "he can't be bigoted!" solely because of his Jewish background. How do you explain the bigoted articles that emerge from Breitbart, which is largely edited and staffed by Jewish writers?
If I went on social media to accuse a kid of being a neo-nazi and he later turned out to be Jewish, I would feel foolish and defensive as well.
So your defense of this young man is that he is a f*cking moron?
DP. Calling a Jewish young man a moron (really....he's just being a clueless 22-year-old male, as many of them are) is in no way comparable to calling him a Nazi. The first is a mere put-down, and the second s despicable thing to call a Jewish person.
Pretty sure no one here called him a Nazi, except you. He flashed a white power sign; expressing a view of white superiority is not inconsistent with being Jewish through the modern lens of power dynamics in America.
Here's a simpler question for you: are Jews white? I would say "yes," for practical purposes of power, influence, and treatment by the American legal system.
Get back to us after you've google'd the term "Alt Lite" and done a bit of reading.
I actually watched video of Charlottesville. The white supremacist chants about "the Jews" make me believe it can be presumed that a Jewish boy is not a neo-nazi.

Interesting.
It brings me back to the weird feeling I always get from the frequent poster on this forum who identifies herself as a Jewish conservative. Her posts always strike me as contrived to stir up anti-semitic sentiment, but I could never figure out why someone would do that. I’m not Jewish but, on behalf of Jewish people I know and care about, I find her posts extremely offensive.
This article makes sense of it.

I think when someone is being accused of being a neo-nazi, the fact that they're Jewish is relevant.

What exactly is the "far left"?
