I thought it was transvaginal. She had the blue paper blanket thing pulled up to her chest so her belly didn't seem to be exposed. Could you do an ultrasound through that much belly fat anyway?

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I hate him.
Every week I have said this.

I have a family member who was adopted from foster care and had similar hygiene issues. Beth and Randall are trying their best and are awesome parents, but I hope they don't end up being in over their heads.
****SPOILER ALERT****
Also, I should have seen the pregnancy coming. It fully explains why Kate has been acting strange towards Toby (and in general) and obsessing about her health. I'm interested to see how this storyline plays out. And yup, it seems like they'll continue dragging out the mystery behind Jack's death for as long as possible.
****SPOILER ALERT****
She'll miscarry and blame herself and her weight.

Or, maybe he tried to disappear and stage his death? Set fire to the house when they all were away (for the insurance $) and then in the course of his disappearing, he kills himself or is killed in an accident?
I think the Rebecca-returning-to-the-house-with-Jack's-things-in-a-baggie scene must be happening day(s) later after the fire. There are no firefighters or police at the scene. Maybe she's been at the hospital for a while, she's left, and drives "home" forgetting that that house is gone.
