I also think that poster looks great but her arms are up, her leg is bent, and the mirror is at a slant that makes the whole image elongated.

Can the moral of the story just be that every woman carries weight and size differently?

+1. A lot of those before/after weight loss photos are taken on the same day; pose, lighting, clothes, camera filter, etc can make a huge difference. In PP's photo she has her shoulders back, legs angled in, and soft lighting which make her look slimmer.

She has to be really tall. I don't think size 18 Looks like that. That looks more like a 12.

That isn't what size 18 looks like. the picture poster should post a pic of the tags of that tank top and shorts...pretty sure neither are size 18. Here is a gallery of size 18 women.

Woman here. You look tall, in shape and young.

I'm 5'7, 145lbs, size 8, 44years old. At size 18, I'd be enormous and lumpy. As it is now, I can look "chubby" depending on the clothes.
