Because she said "you're welcome to take home all the flowers and candy and decorations." That's what they do in Ibero-America. (Haven't you been paying attention?) Someone here probably misunderstood that to mean "INCLUDING THE BOUQUET."

Sorry about your negative experience.

Thanks for the support...
I even made sure to mention to all the ladies they were welcome to take the centerpieces, the decor for the buffet and candy bar... where I come from doing it is doing a favor to the bride and groom - so we don't have to clean up and I also asked them to pack stuff to take home - food, cake, candy... we had boxes and bags all set up - it's common in both our cultures to do so. They were all happy and surprised that they could actually do it... I got lots of emails thanking me for it so they didn't have to cook dinner that night

Why are you cleaning up after your wedding? Doesnt the facility do that?

14:57 here. She didn't disprove me! I don't want OP to stop either and I too love this thread! But we're all united in agreeing that she's coo-coo and that Ibero-American=Latino.

Start looking for her in the adoption threads... I have a feeling she won't stay gone long.

Does anyone else find it refreshing to see so many DCUMs ban TOGETHER for something instead of tearing each other down. Ok, I suppose we are tearing 1 person down, but at least we're united, right? Uplifting.

Nah, she's probably at the Wiki making some changes.

Wiki didn't mention crazyland, but you could edit the wiki!

I'm waiting for her explanation regarding the difference between Ibero American and Latino. Should be good!!!

In the United States, the term is in official use in the ethnonym Hispanic or Latino, defined as "a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race."

Ibero-America is formed by all Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas, in addition to Brazil, which is Portuguese-speaking, but excludes the French-speaking countries Haiti, French Guiana, Martinique and Guadeloupe.
