When this show ends, what will happen to the wives financially? I think Meri bought a B&B in Utah so she has something to fall back on. Janelle used to work and I thought was trying to be a realtor at one point but not sure that ever took off. Christine never worked aside from their crap jewelry line. Robyn will end up with Cody so he’ll probably do something. But Janelle and Christine?

I think it is interesting. Meri and Cody basically went through empty nest syndrome and fractured. When suddenly they had no child to raise, no child to bear, and no one but one another, they broke. Christine seems to be seeing that this is her future after watching Meri go through it. She sees that there is not much in the Cody/Christine relationship, and is really wondering about that, and doesn't want to get herself stuck in a situation where she's miserable for the long run (hence the extreme opposition to the 'one big house' plan).

I think Cody and Janelle have the strongest relationship, which I think is surprising. They seem to actually know one another, miss one another, have a relationship that is the two of them. And in some ways I wonder if this is because Janelle's kids aged up and kept the family going in a way Mariah hasn't, bringing in new children via Maddie and Caleb and therefore keeping Cody in the evolving family.

Robin I think actually isn't that compatible with Cody, personality wise, but he is physically the most into her. And she is the most passionately invested wife when it comes to having relationships with the sister wives. She, I think more than anyone else in the family, cares about the WHOLE large family unit. I think Janelle does too but I think this is really Robin's reason for being there. And Robin is becoming kind of disillusioned with how Cody is not really nurturing all the wives. But also wants to have another kid! (why?!).

I think it is possible that Christine, not Meri, is the first person to break free. And if that happens, the whole structure will collapse.

I only saw a couple of episodes this season, but I think that Kody only romantically loves Robyn and keeps talking about how he wouldn't recommend polygamy to others because he keeps fantasizing about what it would be like to only be married to Robyn. I think for Kody that would be a dream come true. Which is so sad.

So he was only into polygamy because he didn't find the "right one" and kept dating/marrying "good enough". But now that he's found someone he is more compatible with, he's doubting it?

I was only half paying attention and meant to go back to watch, but deleted the recording accidentally. Did he say he wanted nothing to do with her romantically or sexually at all? Not sure how she goes on from that.

He also said that he doesn't want to have sex with her because he doesn't engage in hookup culture. With his wife of thirty years. That's some BS.

What does that mean tho if it’s his wife? Is that because they have no relationship/compatibility?

I haven't been watching, but I've been reading some of the articles that pop up on Yahoo.

I feel bad for Meri, I wish she would walk away. She could be so much happier.

I'll never understand why the women are/were attracted to this guy...picking up human souvenirs wherever he goes.

Can someone catch us up?
- Cody and Mari aren’t legally married? So who is he married to?
- are the wives all still living nearby one another in Las Vegas?

What else am I missing? I haven’t watched in years but I like to follow this story.

Is this the last season? I have a feeling both Meri and Christine are going to be gone if the show is over. I hope they do.

I'm still watching but have to watch the new episodes a week late when they are rerun, because I can't stay up that late. I didn't see the anniversary (I will this weekend) but their whole relationship is pretty non-existent, it seems. I'm actually surprised she's still there, since her kid is grown/ getting married, and she's not even legally married to Kody anymore.
