Classic and NDI seem to be the cheapest
Focal Point and Sekas a bit higher
Tradition and Buchanan Price next
I'm sure lots of others higher up...this was where we hit our ceiling.
Who are out there in the same line as Tradition and Buchanan Price? Or lower than them but better than Focal Point?

$600k for 5500 sf house including site work? Unbelievable! I assume the basement is not finished.

I think they do custom, you can ask them. I choose an existing model and moved a few non-structural walls.
How's market with the new construction? Is still very hot? What's the new trend?

And how much would that cost excluding site work? Anyone built something similar lately?
We built a 6000 sq feet house with similar specs for $600k including site development. We went with Relux Homes and could not be happier. We have received lots of compliments from our new neighbors and friends. our specs: 2 by 6 walls, R 19 insulation, stone front, 36 inch appliances, marble in mbr with freestanding tub, shaker cabs, quartz countertop.

Or Capitol City builders. They're smaller, but do really nice work. Just stay away from NDI and Focal Point, complete garbage.
For building 8000 square foot house, how much Yeonas Custom or City builders would charge ?
250/sqft+
i dunno why would anyone go with those, they have very high overhead and a lot of your money goes into their overhead, not your house
Because they build a beautiful and well constructed house.
Any builders can build lower cost but good quality houses in McLean or Arlington? What's the new trend now?
new trend is to build a big box, many builders can do very good quality and nice interior for much cheaper price if you are just building a big box
What style of house in your mind are not just big box? What elements can make the house not just a big box? hip roof?
