Anonymous wrote:Not much different talking to a woman 25 vs 45 these days. Women are all watching the same tiktoks, saying the same things, looking at the same things, same pop culture references, whatever. The only difference is salary and looks. I'll take looks.

I know of zero examples I am 47 and divorced for five years in the last 48 hours. Here are the ages of the men who have texted me and who I’ve been on dates with: age 28, 31, 31, and 40. I’m not sleeping with any of them right now I have before (with 28 and 31)— who I’ve actually known for about two years and they’re still interested.
I am 59, and my gf is 26. We are planning to get married.
All of my divorced 50s friends got married to younger, hotter, thinner women.
Go to any elementary school event in McLean and you will see a lot of older men with much younger wives.
Anonymous wrote:I can't speak to this trend because I have only seen the opposite in real life. I have three female friends who married younger men, all after 35. Each other has been repeatedly asked, by seemingly well-meaning people: "why did you marry a younger man?"
Their answers have been consistently the same: because they loved each other.

Never again lol! She was beautiful, hot, fun you name it. But she wanted what I had at one point in my life namely marriage and children.
Men who have kids should not remarry with a younger woman. It's very irresponsible and loose loose situation for everyone. You start over as an old dad while she is starting with a low energy dad. I don't care if you are in top shape once you are deep into your 40s child rearing is not fun. And by that time you should focus on your first kids anyways and your retirement.
Actually in the real world though it's rare for old men to remarry with younger women.
Is it easy for an older divorced man who is in great shape to date young women? Yes it is. And you don't even have to have a high income or great career. Charisma is enough to make it happen.
If you are old man just date younger women for sex that's it. Don't rob her of a future with someone else..Women even the seasoned ones will fall in love with someone they should not fall in love with and they will wait and wait hoping you will marry them and have kids with them. So fellas don't go that route.

I suppose it's great for the men, but for their younger wives, everyone feels sorry for them for not being able to marry someone good looking their age and also views them as gold diggers. Socially, these kinds of situations are awkward.

2. BECAUSE THEY CAN!
People say fertility but every older man I know who has hooked up with a young woman to have kids struggles in the dad department. Little kids are not easy to deal with at age 40+ because your energy just isn't the same. I think it's more of an ego boost for some men than about fertility.
(shrug) I'm in my 40s, I have little kids now, and I have all the energy I need.
I also have a lot more patience than I did 10 or 15 years ago.
But but but....
are you always up for sex. nasty, brutish, hot sex? with blow jobs to completion. swallowing? wearing thong panties on a tuesday. giving head on more than just "special occasions." Waxing down there. Always wearing heels with your man when you go out on the crowd. The younger generation like PP noted came of age in a less encumbered environment. If and older husband wasn't getting a hot sex life, he's sure to grab one of these young things for round #2. Just look at how these younger gals dress at musical festivals.
