I guess her reputation is well-deserved.

One of my best friends since college is a famous (in her field) movie critic/writer, she attends all the festivals around the world and has interviewed absolutely everyone you can imagine. Of all the hundreds, if not thousands of celebrities she's met, she said the nicest are Bill Murray and David Hasselhoff(weird, I know, but she said he was so funny, and kind and took the time to talk with her for a bit while, they met at Cannes and two years later she saw him there again, he remembered her name and came over to talk). But Bill Murray was exactly like everyone has reported, funny, cool, nice, generous, etc.
The pictures she texts me are hilarious. I mean she really has met every single person you can imagine.

I was wearing a sleeveless dress and he looked directly into my eyes as he shook my hand with his right hand and hooked his thumb and palm around the inner part of my upper right arm at the same time and gave a little 'squeeze to my bicep'. I went completely deaf but was able to mutter something like: 'thanks so much for all your support'. His head looked huge as compared to his body--he smelled like suede and honey. He was so casual and charming--It was unnerving. My arm felt disconnected from my body for hours.

Tom Brady playing blackjack in Vegas -- so so hot, but I'm from NE.
Don King, also in Vegas.
Ted Kennedy at a dog park. He had on a jacket with his name on it and was driving a mini van --my mom was with me and was beside herself - again, I'm from NE.
Dana Carvey at Tom's Diner in LA
Planet Hollywood. I was working an event for her book launch.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Cindy Crawford. She was rude and dismissive but stunning. She was chatting with her friend about how tacky DC women were with their French tip manicures!
Geena Davis. Unfriendly. So tall. In that bad stage when she had bleached blonde hair, so she wasn't looking good.
Tom Arnold (ex-Roseanne husband). very funny and warm.
Jackie Stallone (Sylvester's mom). LOTS of plastic surgery.
Maria Shriver and her mom. Very polite and normal. Eunice was extremely wrinkled; I couldn't get over Maria's angular face.
Kevin Spacey. Shorter than expected, very very polite, completely uninterested in the ladies!
Ed Begley Jr. So nice and funny.
Spalding Gray (RIP). Amazing. My BFF and I crashed his backstage at the Kennedy Center and took him out drinking in G'town years ago. He was so cool.
WOW! Would you mind saying where you ran into Cindy Crawford? Was she in DC for a while?
