This is absolutely true. OP is not a template for every black man married or with a white woman. Yes, His relationship is only representative of His experience.

Rock on, Mama. Fade the narrow-minded haters that futily try to put you (and other similarly IR married couples) into some kind of box so they can feel better. Although I don't get the impression that many people weighed-in against IR marriages in this thread, but maybe you should take another look at it and you'll notice how feeble the detractors' positions are in their small world. I am a white woman married to a black man and I am neither blonde, fat or ugly. What a horrible stereotype of white women that are in relationships with black men. This is my second marriage and my first marriage I was married to a white man. I do not see color but qualities in individuals. My second husband is intelligent, a wonderful husband and an awesome dad to our children.
