I personally just find them annoying and don't watch, but I am not sure that they actually do discriminate on their show or if we just assume they do based on the pastor at their church.
Yes, there was an article about it being their and the producer's views a while back.
And yet I've seen several interracial couples on their show....interesting.

The Gaines belong to an anti-LGBT church- as in pro-conversion therapy and anti-same sex marriage. Do the Gaines share their pastor's views? We don't know because the couple hasn't made any public statements about this issue.
However, Fixer-Upper is a HGTV show and the network has a clear policy on inclusion and discrimination. In 2014 (not sure about the exact year), HGTV canceled a show because the hosts were actively homophobic.
If the Gaines do share their pastor's views, will they abide by HGTV's policies? Even if they don't share their pastor's views, including a same-sex couple on their show would probably create problems for them at church. I think they are hoping this issue never comes up. Considering that they are based in Waco, Texas, that may be entirely possible.
