I just looked and that is right. Next year, top step, longevity 3 with a Ph.D. on the 194 teacher scale is 98,920. Now days it takes a minor miracle to get there as you have to be at each longevity step for two years before moving up and our step increases have been frozen four out of the last five years. I know, I've spent five years at Longevity 1 and would still be there next year, if I wasn't retiring.
