Many people complain (on DCUM) and do nothing. Our kids (DC residents) are being shut out of school in the city. That hurts all of us.
It doesn't surprise me in the least that under-enrolled schools are reluctant to follow-up on this, as it inflates their numbers. I'm starting to wonder if DCPS isn't doing the same thing. Sure, it rips off the taxpayers, but at the rate DCPS is bleeding students one can see why they'd want to artificially inflate numbers too.
