most social commentary comedy is funny because there is some basis in reality. And yes, there are studies that back up the general statement that most serial/spree murderers are white males. Not all, "most" meaning either plurality or majority.

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's satire is funny because it uses the same sort of "based in reality" humor. "can't make this shit up" comedy, so to speak.


I get it. I saw Rock's show. And I laughed. It just sounded a little off to say something like, "Yah, it's true that white men are more likely to be crazy, because in his bit, Chris Rock said..."

You are being too literal. Google the Chris rock thing. He is basically saying that white people are the ones who commit crazy crimes...like mass murder, serial killings, etc. I was just paraphrasing his bit.

No. If you're referring to the study I read a few pages back, it said that white males are more likely to be mass murderers and that the reason for this was unknown. It did not say that they were more likely to be crazy and do things like eat people.

To all of you who say he's insane, you do realize he was studying neuroscience right? He knows a little about mental disorders and their effects. It's quite possible that he murdered out of rage and is now faking insanity. Given his educational background, that would not be a stretch.


all valid theories (insanity vs. faking it)...and only time will tell what the truth is. In the meantime, with no facts, we are only left to speculate. No need to be tearing each other apart over exactly what type of monster he is.
