The only plus was that they were light. The procedure caused me a decent amount of pain- I was balling up my fists so tight I had ring imprints afterwards...in all it was over very quickly- about 10 minutes was the actual procedure and not prep. The real pain began as soon as I stood up and immediately sat down after the procedure. I staggered out to my car and probably shouldn't have been driving as bad as the cramping was-I was also dizzy. I made it to my bed where I literally writhed in pain for an hour before falling asleep. I took a Xanax before my procedure in leu of a painkiller because I wanted to feel if something was wrong- so I fell asleep easier than I thought I would- regardless of the pain. I woke up with the feeling of my god awful period cramps I remember- a cool breeze compared to what I just felt before I fell asleep. I bled a bit that day and today I haven't seen much blood and my cramps are subsiding.
I am now more concerned now about tampons, sex, and whatever might accidentally pull it out by the strings. The pain of it going in, makes me scared of the pain coming out.
