I will disagree. Other scores matter, but we understand them better. It is not clear what an average student's gbrs is. My guess is 4-6 would be an average student, 12 - 13 is the average accepted into AAP. -- 12 for in pool, 13 for out of pool (you would expect in pool to be lower on average because a 10 GBRS with exceptional scores gets in whereas out of pool, it would not).
SO, if we mapped GBRS on the same type of scale, 12 would be like 130, 8 would be like 100, 10 would be like 115, etc....(I am not saying that is what it is...)

Where did you know the GBRS? I even didn't know this thing until I saw this post. Nobody told me the GBRS at all.
