I totally agree. I am feeling harrassed right now and purposely did not attend a party. Not for s and d but a competitor. I was asked if I wanted to look through a magazine. No, I do not want to purchase overpriced jewelry leave me alone!Anonymous wrote:Why do all these people who sell this stuff via trunk shoes refer to it as "my business"? And this is across the board no matter what the product they are pushing. Maybe it is a "business" technically but to me it is not a REAL business. When I think of someone having a business it is of a person who busts their ass, pays their dues and builds something real of their own. Not this silly nonsense of paying your own money in to some cultish group only for the right to harass family and friends to purchase things they most likely do not want or need.

I am not big on jewelery the jewelery I wear never comes out such as piercings in my ear being of high quality and completely stainless steel trough and trough. But I saw a couple pieces I really like 2 bracelets but the cost was outrageous so I decided not to purchase them. for the 2 pieces it would have come to well over $100.00 about $120.00 plus tax that is a lot to pay for costume jewelery. The stylist was really helpful and said their quality is what you pay for. and you have 120 day if you have an issue. Luckly from the party my mother in law managed to provide a large income for this lady and she was allowed 2 free pieces and 3 50% off items. So at the end she let me do the 50% off for my 2 items so I paid $60 and some change. I always kept the bracelets together on a high shelf knowing the cost of them I didn't want them broken with a 5 year old around. I only wore them on special occasions, and maybe a handful of times since I got them. Yesterday I was gong to a 2nd job interview at a local jewelery store that sells silver jewelery so I take down my special expensive bracelets to wear them and one is lose like really lose could fly off my hand by simply walking. I take it off it is one of the silver studded bracelets that at the time all the celebrity's were wearing. so with me hardly wearing it for a year the elastic band (mind you it looked like a cheap hair elastic that you would buy at the dollar store quality there for sure) deteriorated to a point it is slack like a hair elastic that has gotten pulled out of the metal shaft. I WILL NEVER BUY STELLA AND DOT AGAIN, NOT WORTH THE 50% OFF PRICE. It is complete garbage. Now I am going to speak with My mother in law this weekend and see if her stylist will do anything but according to the web site she will not take responsibility for defects unless it is with in 120 days. for someone like me that doesn't wear jewelery everyday that is not suffice for defects. the elastic literally deteriorated during non use what kind of quality is that. I highly doubt that celebrity's were wearing Stella and Dot more than likely stella and dot knocked it off.
