That's the only great news out of this entire shittshow.
That would be until DEMOCRATS stop blocking the funding.

📣 Last night on the Senate floor, my bill, the End Special Treatment for Congress at Airports Act, passed the Senate unanimously. This legislation would require Members of Congress to undergo the same @TSA screening procedures as everyone else as well as prohibit the use of taxpayer dollars to provide Senators & House members with expedited or preferential access at airport security checkpoints.
Â
I look forward to this bill passing the House & heading to @POTUS’ desk!

Keep up, this is all on Trump now.

If they just needed “bodies,” why didn’t TSA just use their Air Marshal’s. They literally have teams of Marshal’s that do nothing but patrol airports (which is a waste of money anyways).
I've seen them drinking some Starbucks.....very helpful.

Because once masked, ICE will continue its terrorization on American streets, as they are currently doing still in Minneapolis and elsewhere.
Part of the point here is that Trump has different federal employees swimming well outside of their missions. National Guard are acting as police on city streets, ICE is in airports, and so on.

Why don't you go work for ICE for couple years and then come back and report if they need them or not?

Why would anybody commit career suicide like that? The job market’s already terrible and having ICE on your resume makes you a toxic hire to at least half the country. ICE isn’t going to be overfunded forever so their agents are self-limiting their own job futures.
